BULLETTIME Volkstheater Wien
(written by Alexander Kerlin and directed by Kay Voges) DoP Max HammelOne of my most ambitious productions to date was Bulletime, a hybrid theater-film experiment directed by Kay Voges at the Volkstheater Wien. As part of the core video team, I operated live cameras and a camera crane, capturing the performance alyways in real time and contributing to its immersive, cinematic aesthetic. The piece blurred the lines between stage and screen, demanding precision, coordination, and creative intuition. Working alongside a large ensemble and a visionary director, I gained valuable experience in live multi-camera setups, real-time storytelling, and the unique choreography of theater-based cinematography.
