I’m Konrad Braun, born in 2003 in Berlin – a city that has profoundly shaped me and sparked my passion for subcultures and urban life. In 2022, I graduated from a community high school in Prenzlauer Berg and have been active in the video and photography industry ever since.

I am currently based in Vienna, studying Film, Photography, and Design at Graphische Wien. Alongside my studies, I work in various camera-related roles – most notably at Volkstheater Wien, where I have contributed as a live cameraman, editor, and content creator to several major stage productions. There, I had the chance to collaborate on ambitious works by Kay Voges, Jonathan Meese, and Max Hammel, merging theater, performance, and real-time film into compelling hybrid experiences. In 2025, I also joined during an Internship Zauberberg Productions in Berlin as a production assistant, supporting several commercial film projects.

Since 2023, I have also been working as the sole product photographer for Wolt Austria.

Beyond my professional roles, I actively pursue independent projects – ranging from music videos and short films to university work and personal explorations. These spaces allow me to experiment with ideas and techniques freely.

My practice thrives on contrasts: I am deeply rooted in analog photography and filmmaking, yet equally fascinated by 3D and the new possibilities of AI. For me, it’s about choosing the right tools – whether analog or digital – to create powerful moods and atmospheres.

I bring extensive experience with a wide range of video and lighting equipment, in both live and studio contexts. I’m especially familiar with Leica and Sony systems, using them for everything from handheld documentaries to fully equipped cinema setups. My workflow combines technical precision with a flexible, intuitive approach tailored to each project.
